Japanese Mitate (Parody) Gosho Ningyo pair depicting a daimyo and his retainer in a sankin kotai procession, the leading figure dressed in blue bast fiber textiles with heavy gold wrapped thread half-circle designs depicted with right foot lifted high, left hand holds a closed fan, the attendant depicted kneeling, holding a standard, wearing a fine green silk kimono, both wearing traveling pouches with gourd, mounted on a black stand. Restorations, minor wear to textiles at back, overall fine condition.
