Historically, nearly all of the ningyo offered through Alan Scott Pate Antique Japanese Dolls come directly from Japan. I travel there 3-4 times a year and endeavor to select, bring home, and offer to my clients the highest quality ningyo possible, whatever the category. I do not have a general buy-back policy as at times it can turn into a protracted ningyo lending library.
At times, however, clients do have ningyo they would like to sell. In the “Consignment” section we list selected dolls that have been entrusted to me in order to find their next home. These are presented in a non-categorized approach. Just random fun! In any cases these ningyo are being offered at reduced prices.
