Kneeling Gosho-ningyo

Gosho-ningyo fashioned of wood and covered a fine white gofun, presented in a striking kneeling pose with left foot forward and arms also forward holding a tasseled silk cord (replaced), right leg thrust back and flattened to provide stability to pose, with narrow painted eyes and painted hair with a nakasori bald  spot, well formed ears of raised gofun in a moriage technique, silk brocade haragake bib, gosho ningyo with more attenuated limbs are sometimes referred to as hadaka-saga ningyo.
