Japanese clay kyodai gosho-ningyo pair depicting a small gosho boy sitting on the shoulders of a standing gosho boy, reinterpretation of a kyodai older brother/younger brother gosho form, clay body covered in a fine gofun with painted features, painted mizuhiki presentation ribbon on foreheads, embroidered silk crepe bib and tie collars, older brother with a serious demeanor while younger broter seems to be enjoying the ride,  Mounted on a contemporary black lacquer stand, fine condition.
