Japanese standing gosho-ningyo kyodai pair, a classic Edo gosho dressed in silk crepe sleeveless vest with embroidered designs over an embroidered haragake vest,arms bent behind back to support smaller gosho-ningyo in white silk kimono, both of wood and toso wood composite covered in gofun with painted features, larger figure with tuft of silk hair at temples tied with cord., younger brother separately rendered in white silk kimono with orange bib, fading, losses to young boy’s head, mounted on contemporary lacquer hina base.
