Exceptional wakagime-himegime prince and princess ningyo pair done in the triple-jointed mitsuore style allowing them to sit, stand, or kneel independently, sexed figures, inset glass eyes, exquisitely fashioned features, real hair, clothed in elaborate silk costumes, the male figure wearing striped hakama trousers with a purple surcoat bearing the rimbo Buddhist Sacred Wheel crest on the back and sleeves, two swords with metal blades and fine hilts tucked in at his belt, she wearing a yuzen dyed silk crepe kimono in blues and oranges with a vibrant red lining and wide red-pink obi belt with pouch attached. Minor cracks, hair restored, overall fine condition.
