Japanese Gosho Ningyo figure of a seated boy, positioned with both legs forward and body twisting slightly to left with arms extended offering a lacquered box(possibly replaced) with silk tie cords, clothed in a simple silk crepe kimono with a white silk undergarment, sexed figure, carved entirely of wood and covered in gofun, small facial features delicately carved with painted details, hair executed in chinese karako style with two side locks, front bang, top knot and back lock, loss to gofun on right big toe revealing kiri-wood base, also loss to right hand small finger, overall fine condition.
