Japanese Standing Gosho, unusual standing figure in a broad stance wearing a silk brocade coat with outer sleeves thrown back to reveal elaborately emboridered silk crepe under coat, right hand holding a toy dog in the Shibahara Clay Dog style, dog and gosho fashioned of wood covered in gofun with painted details, gosho with broad round face, small features, applied silk fiber hair on paulownia wood stand. Minor wear, losses, overall fine condition.
