Takeda-ningyo of a warrior with the Futami-gaura Wedded Rocks design. depicted with right leg on a rock and the left leg thrust forward, holding a gumbai Chinese-style battle fan in right hand, log sword at hip, well countered face of wood covered in gofun with painted details, faint blue line along chine to suggest an unshaven face, silk fiber hair in a topknot with tie cord, silk brocade outer kimono with sleeves thrown back to reveal silk crepe inner kimno with chirimen silk crepe sleeves decorated with the Futamigaura design with a simulating the thick shimenawa sacred rope and gohei streamers of a sacred Shinto site, minor fading, overall good condition.
