Dynamic takeda-ningyo holding aloft a battle standard with the four-eye pattern (meyuri uma-jirushi), with left leg on a stump and the right leg thrust forward, wearing a Chinese-style sleeveless surcoat with fringed lapels, under kimono with silk crepe sleeves bearing a large embroidered butterfly pattern, head of wood covered in gofun with painted details, silk fiber hair, wearing Hideyoshi’s signature winged cap in the Chinese style, saihai battle whisk in right hand, the tall uma-jirushi battle standard with a three-dimensional four-eyed top with gold-baked paper tassels hanging down, losses to lacquered cap, minor fading, signs of wear, overall fine condition.
