Takeda-ningyo of Warrior with Tai

Japanese Takeda-ningyo of a warrior holding a giant Tai Sea Bream, classic posturing with  left leg thrust forward, clothed in multiple layers of silk brocades with extensive use of birodo black velvet with embroidery, appliqué butterflies along the front, sleeve with a densely embroidered image of a ship on water, outer jacket with large flying crane designs and Chinese-style lapel treatment with ruffled edges, face exceptionally well carved with aggressive features, real hair with a formed topknot, holding in his left hand a giant papier-mâché Tai sea bream and a spear in his right, while the Tai is a typical symbol for he Shinto deity Ebisu, here the identity of the figure is unclear, losses to hair, minor signs of wear.
