Takeda-ningyo depicting a Yamabushi Warrior Monk, depicted with left leg on a stump and right leg thrust forward, multiple layers of silk brocade outer kimono with sleeves thrown back to reveal inner kimono with embroidered sleeve depicting stylized double water wheel design, wearing a papier-mâché oi traveling pack in blue and gold and round bowl hat of a yamabushi warrior in blue and gold with velvet accents, spear in right hand, face of wood covered in gofun with painted details with light line of blue around chin suggesting unshaven, silk fiber hair, two long swords at hip, mounted on a black lacquered base with front aperture cloth, fading, losses, wear to textiles, overall fine condition.
